Women’s Coaching

Here at KSU we specialise in coaching women, although we coach men too! We know how difficult it can be to juggle family life with your personal training goals; one of our core beliefs is that if we can find the right balance between the two, you’ll be able to achieve more than you believed possible!

Why choose A Female Cycling Coach

Choosing a female cycling coach offers unique benefits that cater specifically to the needs of women cyclists. As a women’s specific cycling coach, I bring a deep understanding of the physiological and psychological aspects that affect female athletes. This includes knowledge about menstrual cycles, hormonal fluctuations, and gender-specific health concerns, ensuring that training plans are tailored to optimize your performance and well-being, whilst balancing your off-bike commitments.

Representation matters, and having a female coach provides a powerful role model for women and girls in cycling. It breaks down barriers and encourages greater participation by demonstrating that women can excel not only as athletes but also as leaders and mentors in the sport. I’ve experienced many different styles of levels of racing, I know how it feels to try and race on your period, to train when your body feels its strongest and weakest!

Empathy and communication are crucial in coaching, and here at KSU coaching we strive to create a supportive, inclusive environment so you’re able to get the best from your training and yourself on the bike. I hope this makes it easier for athletes to discuss your challenges, goals and foster a great relationship.

Choosing a female cycling coach is not just about expertise; it’s about being part of a movement towards greater equality and representation in sports. It’s about working with someone who understands and champions your journey, both on and off the bike.
